Macrocarpa Seating

Macrocarpa timber is fantastic for outdoor furniture because of its golden colour and natural resiliance to fungus and rot. Unlike pine, it does not need to undergo any chemical treatments to protect it from weathering. Over time, the wood will naturally turn a rustic silver grey.

The timber for these seats is milled at Cypress Sawmills in Kaukapakapa just North of Auckland from either sustainable local plantations or from older shelter trees that have fallen naturally.
